We're always looking to attract talented people into our business as well as develop our existing colleagues’ skills. One of the ways we do this is to give everyone the opportunity to study professional qualifications to progress their career.

Modern apprenticeships are a great way of gaining industry-recognised qualifications to support your development, whether you’re taking the first step into a new role or you're ready to make your next move but need a further qualification. You can even gain a master’s degree through an apprenticeship.

What can I study?

You can do an Apprenticeship in a number of different departments including Actuarial, Underwriting, Finance, HR, Customer Service, IT, Digital, Data, Marketing, Change, Claims, Leadership & Management. We offer opportunities within Private Health, Motor & Home and Business insurance lines, or our Support Functions that support our teams every day.

How does it work?

We have links with some of the best training providers in the country, so we can offer government-approved apprenticeships that help you achieve industry-recognised professional qualifications. They range from intermediate level 2 qualifications right through to bachelor’s and master’s degrees at levels 6 and 7. You‘ll study alongside your day-to-day role, earning a competitive salary while you learn.

What training will I receive?

The training you’ll receive will differ depending on your apprenticeship. Study methods range from face-to-face workshops to digital learning. We're fully committed to supporting you through the programme, with time for study included as part of the apprenticeship.

Who's it for?

You can do an apprenticeship at any age, regardless of your previous education. Studying for a professional qualification while working can be demanding.
