FAQs

Where are the AXA offices?

We’ve got office hubs across the UK from Glasgow to Bournemouth. You can see a full list here

What's it like to work at AXA?

We're passionate about driving progress and protecting what matters.

We value great technical skills, but you don't need a degree, or experience in insurance or financial services, to thrive here unless specifically required by the role. Whatever your lifestyle, life stage, experience, or perspective, you'll fit right in. You may be surprised by the breadth of opportunities available. To find where you'd fit in, search our latest jobs.

Do you have an inclusive hiring process?

At AXA, we have a culture of trust and respect where everyone belongs. We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds. If you need support throughout the process, we have a dedicated accessibility concierge. Details of who to contact are on every job advert.

Do you offer hybrid working?

We know one size doesn't fit all so depending on our customer's needs, your unique circumstances and how your team operates we offer a blend of home and office-based working. We call it Smart working. It's all about using different ways of working to help our people stay connected, productive, and enjoy balanced lives. Mostly we work at least 40% of our time away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

Are you able to support disabilities during the recruitment process and beyond?

As a disability confident employer, we’re pleased to offer our support and access to the AXA Accessibility Concierge. They can support should you require an alternative method of applying or any reasonable adjustments to be made during the recruitment process.

What is a fixed term contract (FTC)?

A fixed term contract (FTC) is a role that’s open for a fixed period of time, as specified on the job advert. You're still part of the team, and will get access to everything our full-time employees enjoy.

If I’m studying for qualifications, would you still support me in completing them?

This will depend on the role, function and qualification. For confirmation, please discuss this with the Talent Acquisition team (the recruiter). Details of who to contact are on every job ad.

Who can I contact to report a concern of behaviour or process believed to be inappropriate, unethical or illegal?

At AXA we're committed to offering a fair and inclusive experience to all candidates. You're encouraged to report, in good faith, any concerns of behaviour or processes believed to be inappropriate, unethical, or illegal.

Should you wish to report any concerns, you can do this through by sending an email to speak-up@axa.com, AXA’s dedicated hotline. This service is managed by an independent investigation team. Please note that this email address is not for dealing with job or application related queries.
