Job overview:

We’re not just experts in insurance; we also support people in looking after their health. By taking the time to build meaningful, long-term relationships with our Large Corporate clients, we can exceed their expectations and move from being a payer of claims to a partner for a healthier life. We are looking for a Client Manager on a 6 months FTC to join our Large Corporate Sales Team, you’ll be proactively managing, retaining and developing a portfolio of Large Corporate clients. This portfolio will be predominantly made up of Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP), Private Medical Insurance (PMI) and medical trust clients.  

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing positive and productive business to business relationships to deliver retention and development sales results across the range of products and services
  • Taking a consultative approach to truly understand your client’s goals and strategic objectives, taking ownership of their needs, queries and their servicing requirements
  • Building annual and longer-term account plans, establishing and developing lasting relationships between Corporate Clients and AXA Health
  • Presenting relevant high quality tailored proposals, lead negotiations and win new business
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for further product and service sales
  • Identifying changes in the marketplace or with our competitors that could impact your customers and suggest innovative solutions
  • Meeting with clients at least 2 – 3 days per week, either face to face or virtually dependant on client requirements, your client portfolio will be based nationwide

Work arrangements:

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.

Your skills & experience:

  • Proven account management and development experience
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills, building both internal and external networks
  • Commercial and strategic awareness coupled with an appreciation of the corporate business environment
  • Sound influencing and negotiation skills – aiming to achieve a win/win every time
  • Customer focused with excellent communication, including active listening
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and evidence of ability to develop and implement plans for long term success
  • Good knowledge of the private healthcare market and wellbeing products and services
  • Experience of working with large corporate clients and intermediaries would be desirable
  • Due to the travel involved, a full driving licence is required for this role
