Our Salesforce technology stack is mostly made up of the following technologies; APEX, JavaScript, SOQL, SOSL, Flows, Lightening Web Components, HTML, CSS, Custom Objects, Complex Batch Jobs, Triggers, Azure DevOps, Odaseva & Copado, with internal integrations facilitated through our Azure Cloud Services architecture.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing solutions to the required quality, design, coding, performance and security standards, in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Providing production support, through investigations of incidents, triage and fix
  • Testing solutions thoroughly, prioritizing the use of automated testing standards and techniques
  • Using a mixture of low code and click driven solutions alongside more customised coded and developed options when required
  • Creating and supporting custom lightning web components, triggers alongside scheduled batch jobs
  • Ensuring quality and continuous improvement through design reviews, code reviews, retrospectives
  • Taking collective ownership for the platform as a whole, responding to its needs for stability and availability
  • Providing accurate and timely estimates for proposed solution development
  • Working closely with colleagues to share knowledge and ensure the continuous growth of our development community

What you’ll bring:

  • Prior experience in a similar Salesforce Engineering role with relevant qualifications such as Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator
  • Experience working across the Salesforce Ecosystem including Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
  • Strong understanding of Clean Code practices, Object Orientation, SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, Governor Limits and Salesforce Best Practices
  • Growth-oriented and adaptable with an ability to meet the changing needs of the platform and our customers
  • Passionate about software development, demonstrating your passion through blogging, contribution to open-source projects, attending tech events, pet projects at home
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and adapt your style to meet the needs of your audience
  • Curiosity, with a desire to innovate to find optimal technical solutions
