On Thursday 13th September some of our graduates went on tour around the City to promote Macmillan Cancer Support’s World Biggest Coffee Morning that will be held on Friday 28th September. The team distributed coffee of the back of a rickshaw, accompanied by a life-size coffee mug, to encourage people to sign up to hold their own coffee morning. Last year more than 55,000 events were held across the UK, raising more than £10million to help people affected by cancer.
In the last two years of fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support, the AXA office in Old Broad Street, London, have raised nearly £50,000. Jacque, who is currently on the Future Leader Graduate programme, along with Claire Swingler, Lindsay Foster and Steve Henry were all on hand to provide coffee, while Natalie Bodek spent much of the morning in the ‘Muggy’ costume.
