A huge congratulations to the customer service team at our Ipswich office who beat tough competition to win Customer Service Team of the Year at the 2016 British Excellence in Sales & Marketing Awards last month. Organised by the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management – the UK’s largest professional sales body – many household names including British Gas, Vodafone and Yell were also nominated for awards.
Hosted by Dara O’Briain and held at the glamorous Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, the awards are all about recognising and rewarding the efforts of the individuals and the teams that drive company performance, identifying the roles played by sales professionals in driving the UK economy forward.
We picked up the Customer Service Team of the Year award, in recognition of the Ipswich team’s delivery of consistently high levels of customer service, backed up by deep technical knowledge. The team handles incoming calls from insurance brokers relating to personal lines insurance products. This can be a complicated process and the judges recognised the investment in training and development made by AXA in Ipswich.
