The Role:

In this role, you will be supporting employees of businesses who have contracts with us to provide mental health care, mostly by telephone. This is done through support calls, therapy assessments and delivery of contracted therapy sessions. You will work with individuals to determine the best therepeutic support and help navigate them to the right type of intervention. You will have the opportunity to work with a vast array of mild, moderate and severe clinical presentations;from stress, anxiety, depression through to attachment difficulties, substance abuse, trauma and personality disorders. You will also have the unique opportunity to deliver managerial consultancy, providing guidance to managers who are experiencing distress around their role.
You will be working within a friendly multi-disciplinary team with access to psychologists for clinical support and guidance. We are looking for someone who can work across Monday to Sunday, between the hours of 8am and 11pm. Part time working hours will be considered, with the minimum being 22.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling (any theoretical orientation) or equivalent, as well as being a member of an accredited body, such as BACP or BABCP and working towards your accreditation. In addition, you will have experience of working with adults from age 16+ within a professional context. Ideally, this will have been gained within a corporate environment, allowing you to gain skills and knowledge around commerciality, conducting therapy assessments and making clinical recommendations for onward treatment.

As this is a Location Independent role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be able to work in either the Glasgow or Eastbourne office 1-2 days per month, whichever is closer to you in location
• Be able to attend initial induction and any subsequent training/CPD/meetings in the office
