Why joining AXA Health was a great career move.

How is AXA Health empowering people?

Devika Wood, Proposition Owner, Doctor at Hand, AXA Health.

So to me, AXA Health is about moving into preventative care and looking after our members, I think it’s about shifting the mindset of what insurance is, in understanding that in order to help our members be the best version of themselves, we want them to be able to be healthy, proactive, and looking after the house and well-being of our members. To do that, it means that we want to be able to give our members the empowerment to put health in their hands. And that’s everything about what AXA Health is, it’s putting the members first and empowering them to live a healthy lifestyle.

The thing that makes AXA so incredible to be in as a workplace is the people, every person that you interact with, are pushing the boundaries to really put AXA first and the member first and do the best in everything they possibly do. Every conversation we have is so remarkably interesting and always making sure that at the core of every decision that we are making both business in the sense of AXA is that the member has the best possible customer journey.

AXA enables me to be the best version of myself at work because actually, they enable me to be who I am coming from a very entrepreneurial background and moving into The corporate space in a big career move. I was always really scared that I was going to be out of my comfort zone and having to conform to a way that I wasn’t familiar with. But actually, AXA really pushed me and nourished me to be the entrepreneur and be agile and actually try and blend the corporate and agile together. I did that way, it really benefits both myself and AXA because I’m able to be the best version of myself and give the best possible that I can.
