Meet our People
My name is Emma Brown. I work for AXA PPP Healthcare. I joined in August 1997, so I'm just coming up for my tenth anniversary. And I'm based in Tunbridge Wells, and I'm currently a Senior Team Manager within Customer Service.
The best things about my role are working with people. I have a team of 11 Senior Personal Advisors, all of whom are absolutely fantastic, I really enjoy working with my team. My area looks after all of the new starters that are recruited into Customer Service. Their initial training is a three month period, and I'm responsible for those people whilst they're in training, because the team of people that I manage actually train the new starters.
A typical day for me is predominantly looking after my team, so making sure that they have a work plan in place, everybody knows what they should be doing, where they should be doing it. I'm looking after the trainees that are coming into Customer Service, people that we've recruited externally, so ensuring that they are receiving the training that they need to be able to be competent in their role. I could be dealing with people issues, I could be working as part of a project team. So yeah, really varied. It keeps me on my toes.
I truly believe AXA is a great place to work. I love being part of a global organisation, an organisation that's not afraid of change, we're moving with the times. We are most definitely working towards becoming an employer of choice, and by that I mean, to cut to the chase, the benefits package is great, the salary is competitive, it's generous, the people are really friendly. I work with a fantastic bunch of people. And I think, above all, AXA really knows how to celebrate success.
