AXA Corporate Centre
As the world’s leading insurance brand, here at AXA we’ve got a lot to
be proud of.
Working at the heart of our UK
business, the Corporate Centre
provides a vital link between our Head Office in Paris and the operations based throughout the UK.
Our main focus is to provide support, challenge and expertise to each of our five operating companies, so that they can spend more time concentrating on the needs of their customers.
In the Corporate Centre we provide expertise in a range of areas from Strategy, Finance, Risk and Audit to Marketing, HR, IT and Property. We also have a Partnership Team which works with all our Operating Companies to co-ordinate our cross UK and Global Key Accounts as well as developing new and innovative propositions.
By leveraging our scale we can achieve real competitive advantage, while at the same time provide a consistency across our business - which can be easily translated at a local level.
Today we currently employ around 600 people, based in locations across the country from the City of London to the towns of Ipswich, Bristol and Lytham. This means there are lots of opportunities to meet new people and get involved in projects that span across AXA UK, giving you the chance to experience first-hand the broad range of products and services that AXA has to offer.

The Corporate Centre is an exciting place to work. There’s always variety, new things to learn and new people to work with, both in the UK and overseas.
We are encouraged to think differently and to challenge the status quo. Our people are always looking for opportunities to drive changes. The working environment is friendly, open and supportive – and we are always striving to make it even better.
We have volunteers leading our charity and office committees which is a way of getting everyone involved and working together. We participate in ‘Hearts in Action’ volunteering activities and various fundraising initiatives.
In 2011 we established an appeal for the East Africa Crisis and matched every donation made by our employees, we chose to make our donations to CARE International UK, an NGO which looks to tackle the long term causes of poverty and to create lasting change through education, research and risk reduction. Many of us also took part in ‘Walk for Water’ to raise further funds for the scheme by walking the distance to East Africa and back.
We are proud of our history and diversity and one of the ways that we celebrate this is to run regular ‘Vive la Différence’ events with our colleagues from France and overseas. These include wine and cheese tasting evenings and tucking into French patisseries on Bastille Day!
